oh my, this sounds like a cheaply made horror movie but in fact is real life. these massively massive jellyfish are invading japan at an alarming rate!
one fishing boat was even capsized after a beast pulled the boat to the bottom of the ocean got caught in the net. scientists are blaming good old global warming for the their sudden onto the scene. either way, they sure are scary!

it’s monday and don’t we know it but lets take the dailyvitamins workout to really get that haemoglobin pumping to your otherwise bedraggled face. this workout requires no treadmills, protein shakes with yucky skimmed milk or extremely heavy weights. oh no, the programme is quite simple. follow the instructions below:

2. allow the hi hats to gently massage you during the intro
3. pause and wait for the bass to drop
4. now ‘shake it’, but be careful to not cover your colleagues in wet water as it departs from your locks
5. when the tune finishes you will find yourself warmed, tonally toned, dry and ready to take on the day.

where did the name dollop come from? ??? this is a pretty obvious question, but the problem is the answer isn???t very romantic or exciting. i was sat at breakfast in front of a tub of mayonnaise, with the word ???dollop??? in italics… it was stuck in my mind from then really as i was looking for a name for a night at the time.

4. ok, best skip question 4 then, damn researchers. In which can you tell us about a time when an interview has gone badly?

a few times when i???ve been interviewing artists at about 5am. i wouldn???t say it ever went badly but things can get pretty interesting. i won???t give any names.

5. most of us like to not be nude in public, so what???s your favourite brand/designer for covering yourself in? (and have you ever been nude in public?)

i don???t have a favourite brand, if i like some clothes then fine but i don???t really look out for certain brands. Nah never been nude in public…. yet!

6. if you could work with anyone who would it be and why?

it would have to be some kind of dream collaboration between a few people in order to create the most incredible music event ever. something like herbie hancock curating and playing music alongside carl craig. then anish kapoor would take care of designing the space. finally (sir) jimmy saville would act as mc for the evening. that would be pretty exciting…..

7. we all like to know our stuff, if you could be a connoisseur/guru/demi-god of something what would it be?

i???d like to be able to play piano while singing fluently in french.

8. i know it???s early days, but when you do eventually give up the game, what are you going to do in retirement? or are you going to be the new rolling stones?

far too early to think about that, but i will be by the sea somewhere in a mediterranean country.

9. who in your mind is the hottest talent that we should know about?

people like floating points and joy orbison are both really pushing new ground in deep, bass driven electronic music. You need to check out arne blackman, one of our residents ??? he???s just been singing on some tracks with Its it???s a fine line (ivan smagghe + tim paris), has some amazing remixes coming up and will be getting involved with some very exciting things next year. Also in terms of bands frankie & the heartstrings are about to have their first release on rough trade, egyptian hip hop about to drop on late of the pier???s zarcorp label???.

10. and finally, what are your ???famous last words????

in the words of the great jimmy saville…. “now then, now then”

on a drunken night at university i applied to be an air-hostess. i ended up bumbling my way through the interview process and doing the job for a year.

i am yet to embrace my naturist side, so a favourite designer???.that???s a tough one to answer. there are lots of designers i truly admire and currently there are a few proenza schouler and stella mccartney bits i???d love to have but cannot afford! so technically i???m not covered in them and haven???t really answered this question!
7. if you could work with anyone who would it be and why?
the true art of photography blows my mind – being able to extract a plethora of emotions in a single shot is awe-inspiring. david bailey or rankin would be at the top of my ???love to work with??? list.

all language. i speak french and spanish and find my inability to comprehend other languages incredibly frustrating.

i???d like to do some fellow o.a.p. styling, get them out of knits, fleeces and blankies! i???m currently working on it with my gran but she???s not very receptive!
