update – 3 ways to win!!
you might have noticed a slight chill in the air, but did you know a freeze is about to roll into town?
whoa, whoa, slow your role… there’s no need to pack your bags for warmer climes! this isn’t a warning about an imminent ice age, we’re talking about something a thousand times more exciting – the relentless freeze festival 2010!
that’s right, three days of snowboard, ski and music mayhem will once again take over london’s battersea power station on the 29th of october, with festivities promising to top previous years. adrenaline hungry revellers are in for a real treat, as the worlds best skiers and snowboarders take centre stage, around the focal point of a 32m high, 100m long real snow jump.
and what’s an extreme sports event without some massive tunes thrown in for good measure? well freeze doesn’t disappoint, with a mighty line up including the likes of mark ronson, pendulum, and bedouin soundclash!
fancy a chunk of the action? well we’ve got three pairs of tickets (one pair for each of the days) up for grabs! find out how to get hold of em below…
the first way…
this competition is open to all our twitter followers (make sure you follow us here!) and all you have to do is retweet the following tweet:
RT @vitaminwater_uk: fancy getting your freeze on with #vitaminwater? rt to win a pair of tix to @londonfreeze 2010! http://gvwurl.com/vfrz
the second way…
we’ve got our hands on another pair of tickets to this years freeze festival to give away!
earlier this year, snowboard extraordinaire shaun white invented his own trick, the tomahawk, to go on to win gold at the vancouver winter olympics. now it’s your turn to invent a trick of your own! simply tell us what you would call your ski/snowboard trick if you were to invent one and the most inventive answer will win a pair of tickets!
leave us your answer in a comment below along with your twitter name, so we can get in touch with the winner!
third way…
the tickets just keep on comin! we’ve got one final pair up for grabs and getting your hands on them couldn’t be easier.
this competition is also only open to our twitter followers (follow us here!). all you have to do is send us a tweet with a twitpic of you with your favourite vitaminwater, and we’ll select our third winner from those entries!
the competitions are open until 12pm on 22nd october 2010, and the winners will be announced shortly afterwards! as always, don’t forget to read the t&c’s!

I’d call my trick the ‘whirlygig’ and it would be the first ever Double Mctwist 1440!

i would have to call my “trick” the hatchslam.
It would mainly involve slamming your face into the snow at the end of the ramp(I can’t snowboard very well) in an effort to get to land the right way up. (It normally works out the other way around for me)

The “double no-he-didnt-yes-he-did 360 fluke” would go down well… or end in disaster.

I’d call it the sexy air (or air gyration if you’d prefer) where you put your hands on your head and gyrate your hips at least one full circle (clockwise or anticlockwise) before you land. looks awesome in slow motion!
